We have been enjoying the produce from the water trough garden.

Last week we processed 7 cabbage, and replanted 4 more.  The sugar snap peas are done, and I have plans to plant beans in their place.  The cucumbers are suffering, as the cut worms have made themselves a new home.  I have reminded myself on several occasions, that this year is all about discovering what will work in the troughs, and what won’t work.

Our Gracie Beans are doing very well, with this being our first picking.

This is our first Anaheim chili, with the other 7 plants not far behind.  We will certainly have a great bunch of chili to roast this summer!

This is my second bowl of cucumbers.  We have made all sorts of summer salads, and enjoyed each and every one!

Tomatoes are thriving and not far from turning.

We are still processing firewood in our spare time.  The little boss highly approves of the goings on!

Y’all have a great week!

The lilies are showing off!

The garden is progressing nicely.

The flowers around the farm are making me smile, too!

Have a great weekend y’all!

Just a quick post and a couple of pictures!

The Calendula are starting to bloom!

The grapes are leafing out, and we are ready to remove the original mulch, and put the weed barrier on them, and new mulch.  We did not put the barrier down originally, because I was worried it wouldn’t allow as much water as they needed for beginning growth.
Have a great weekend y’all!

Our first harvest of Sugar Snap Pea’s!

We are very pleased with the garden beds, so far.
Broccoli
Cabbage
The sugar snap peas are on the right side bed.

Along with the joy of the garden, we have been busy with some vegetation removal and bucking logs for lumber and creating firewood.

Have a great week y’all!
