Introductions and Hello !

We just got started, and it has been a long time coming!

We have followed Leigh, at Five Acres and a Dream blog, for many years!  Living and working in Florida for 3 decades, we wanted a simple life on a couple of acres, to establish some self reliance, and put in to practice many of the things that Leigh has shared with her readers over the years.

We had no idea that a 25 acre farm on a ridge in Kentucky was where we were going to spend our retirement years, but here we certainly are!  We are truly blessed and incredibly thankful!

So, three years into our journey, we still have many things to learn, but the awesome part of learning something new is sharing the knowledge!  Thanks for stopping by!

Introductions:

Milo aka Rumplestillskin... it’s hard to get a picture of him when he’s not sleeping!

He is the keeper of the workshop.

Midnight aka Lover maan!

Tinker-butt aka Lil’ Girl!

Our beautiful view from the front porch. My Irish heritage always says that there’s a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and guess what, we found it here on Ridge Tales Farm!

And we can’t forget to introduce you to the two little asses from next door, also known as the noisy carrot beggars!
